Thank you for the loveliest day at the pool. The rain stayed away and it was just cloudy enough to make the crowds stay home too. I’m sure you’ve already recieved great thanks from the kids but I just wanted to make public the fact that You care so much about the “little things” in life.
-Amen
Today is all about my kids. First I’m taking them to buy new diving toys for the pool, then to get library cards and check out some books, then a picnic in the park, followed by an afternoon of swimming with friends and ending with a yummy bbq dinner and a coconut cream pie. NOW THAT’S WHAT I CALL SUMMER!
Although we truly appreciate your blessed rain here in the desert, we’d like to go the pool. Could you please hold off the rain till tomorrow evening? Just wondering…

I have traveling bubbling up in my spirit and swelling in my heart. I cannot imagine living on this side of the world and never seeing the rest. I lay in the grass looking up at the moon and imagine all the people in different countries that look at that very same celestial orb. I watch the travel channel and drink in the cultures and the foods and am in awe that these places truly exist. Sometimes I feel as if they’re all fairytails in some magical story book. But then I have this dear friend who reminds me every so often that this is real and I should make a plan and just do it! Isaac is excited too of course and is so very supportive of my travel desires and doesn’t mind when I slack in many areas to just sit and search and plan all of our delicious adventures that are soon to come.
I have 3 trips currently in the making to 4 different countries. It’s so hard for me to decide where to run off to first.

We are planning to go to Europe more than once over the course of the next few years. Here is one place that we will be visiting without a doubt. It’s where Isaac’s roots are in Spain and happens to be the #1 beach in the world. I squeal every time I think about it.
